Close, but still a win for Eagles

After winning each of its three most recent games by more than 30 point, Graham-Kapowsin High School’s football team may have thought it was due for a close one. And that’s what it got Thursday at Puyallup, as the Eagles rallied four times from deficits and squeaked out a 34-33 victory over the Vikings.
The win preserved G-K’s perfect record and lead in the South division of the South Puget Sound League 4A at 7-0 and 6-0.
