A thief is putting a damper on the celebratory mood of Seattle Seahawks fans among Eatonville School District transportation workers.
The department’s employees were displaying their “12th man Seahawk spirit” with a flag made by Pam Curtis, one of the bus drivers, said Bonnie McNicol, a transportation specialist. The spirit sagged when the flag, mounted on the transportation office building Jan. 17, disappeared in the night between 5:30 and 9 o’clock Jan. 22.
McNicol said the thief or thieves broke the banner’s pole off when they took it.
She said no questions will be asked if it’s returned. “We’d be very grateful to have it back,” she said.
The flag, measuring two feet by three feet, is blue with a white 12.
