I hope the schools will terminate Mrs Obama’s Obummer student meal idea and go back to Hamburgers, Fries, tater salad, and whole milk. Then to spaghetti, then to tuna salad sandwiches and other. Please remove the soda machines and add fruit juices, milk, gatoraid or other hydrating drinks. The schools are responsible for health of our kids….not profit from a soda machine. Kids can drink all the soda they want when they get home. The health and good thinking is needed when kids are in school and the only way to do that is to make sure they have only healthy foods. I have a year old son and since he was born, he has had 1% candy in his lifetime. Candy is a very special treat. He has consumed over 500 pounds of bananas since he was born. About 1.5 bananas a day.
