The Eatonville Cruiser cross country teams would open up the 2019 season by hosting Fife and White River high schools at Camp Arnold in Eatonville.

On the boy’s side, Max VanEaton would take first place out of 41 runners. He would finish the 5,000 meter course in 17:12.5. Very close to his personal best time of 17:12.0.

Cameron Hatler would finish just a tick behind him in second with a time of 17:12.86.

Fife would end up taking 1st place with a score of 53 points, followed by Eatonville with 45, and White River with 30,

For the girls, Jillian Ruiz would take 3rd place with a personal best time of 21:39.

Next up for the Cruisers is a meet on Wednesday, Sept. 15. Girls will start at 4:40 p.m., with the boys following at 5 p.m.
