The Graham Kapowsin Community Council is a non-profit organization that promotes stronger communities in the Graham area. And that effort includes keeping kids from going hungry. The council hosted Harvestfest Oct. 17 at the Elk Plain Grange hall. The event's proceeds benefitted the Feed the Children program, which provides backpacks filled with food that underprivileged children in the Bethel School. Harvestfest included music from DJ Tobi LeMond and food provided by The Thunderbird restaurant.
