Wanda Jean (Fix) Boness

Born April, 1928. Passed away at the age of 84 on July 17, 2012 She is proceeded in death by her son Chris and daughter Anita Lynn. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Dick Boness, her three children GÇô Dick Boness Jr., Annette Boness and Janette Nelson (Steve), six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many friends. Wanda graduated valedictorian of her class at Kapowsin High school in 1946, was owner of Bonus Burger Drive-Ins of Alder, Orting and Edgewood. Owner of Spanaway Speedway and inducted in the Tacoma-Pierce County Hall of Fame in 2007. Wanda loved the Lord Jesus. After many years of severe illness, she died peacefully surrounded by her family as she made the glorious journey to be with Jesus in heaven. The family would like to express thanks and appreciation for the loving support. A memorial to celebrate Wanda's life will be held at Eatonville Baptist Church on Friday, July 27 at 1 p.m. Food and refreshments following the memorial service at the Ohop Grange in Eatonville.
