Eatonville High School's equestrian team will compete in its season-opening meet Feb. 3-5 at the Washington Horsemen Tacoma Unit in Spanaway.
It’s the only meet the team will have in Pierce County. The others are scheduled for March in Elma and April in Lynden, followed by the state tournament in June in Walla Walla.
This week at the arena at 17812 14th Ave. E., competition will be staged Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:20 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 8 to 10:50 a.m. Events will include performance, jumping, dressage, cow sorting, roping, and barrel racing.
