Barnes and Noble Bookstore and Sky Valley Education Center PTA invite the community an evening of presentations by award-winning authors, prizes and holiday shopping ideas on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4:30 to-á11 p.m. at 18025 Garden Way N.E. in Woodinville.
A portion of sales proceeds that evening will be donated to Sky Valley Education Center PTA to purchase playground equipment.
The schedule of events is as follows:
5:00: Award-winning children's book author Clare Meeker.
5:30: First drawing for prizes and announcement of estimating jar winner. 6:00: The magical Suzanne Selfors and Emmy award-winning author Lynn Brunell will perform a science experiment from one of Suzanne's Imaginary Vet Series books. 6:30: Kevin Emerson, Sean Beaudoin, Martha Brockenbrough and Cat Patrick of the You Are Next group will engage readers (and future writers) of Young Adult fiction.
7:00: Reading of the Polar Express
8:00:-áAuthor of the Professor Bradshaw Mysteries, Bernadette Pajer.
9:00: Announcement of second estimating jar winner.
10:30 Last drawing for prizes.
