Expect nightly lane and ramp closures on SR 522 Nov. 10-13

Drivers who use State Route 522 near Monroe should plan ahead for delays or consider using alternate routes this week when contractor crews close one lane of the highway and on-ramps to continue paving and re-striping the highway, weather permitting.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close one lane between U.S. 2 and the Snohomish River Bridge Monday, Nov. 10 through the morning of Friday, Nov. 14, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will alternate in the open lane. In addition, the 164th Street S.E./W. Main Street on-ramps to eastbound and westbound SR 522 will close nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
