Lottie Augustowicz Clune of Monroe, WA died at her home, on June 27, 2013.
Born in Westfield, MA on July 27, 1922, Lottie moved to Monroe to be with her family in 2004 after having lived for 26 years in Largo, FL. She and her husband, Clifford, raised their children in Hancock, NY and Preston Park, PA.
Lottie is survived by her two daughters, Catherine and Betsy; her four sons, Michael, Cliff, Jim and Dan; as well as 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Clifford in 1989, and her son Jerry in 2004.
The Brown Bag Lunch Brigade, the Monroe YMCA and East County Senior Center were all important to Lottie because she loved giving back to her community. Some of Lottie's favorite activities included swimming laps at 90, attending Coffee Klatch, dancing and going for walks around Lake Tye.
Her family is so thankful for the people at Church of our Savior for including Lottie in so many activities over the years, including Sunday worship.
Lottie lost her vision several years ago but not her ability to sense goodness, smell the flowers, enjoy every day and embrace life.
A memorial service will be held at Church of Our Savior, 331 S. Lewis St., Monroe, WA, on July 14 at 3 p.m.
