Monroe ekes out 27-20 win over Snohomish in Homecoming cliffhanger

Monroe's rowdy Homecoming crowd had a night to remember Friday, when a hard-fought battle with the Snohomish Panthers went into overtime. Monroe scored a touchdown on the team's first possession.
Gabe Moore had a big night for the Bearcats, rushing 80 yards.
Snohomish hung on grimly into the fourth quarter when two field goals kept them in the game.
But shortly into overtime, quarterback Andrew Zimmerman connected with Shanden Mixayphone on a six-yard pass that gave the Bearcats the touchdown and the 27-20 win.
