Nancy Elaine Watts July 14 1951 - December 14, 2016

Nancy Elaine Watts, born July 14, 1951, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 14, 2016 at the age of 65.  Born in Enumclaw, Washington and raised in Bothell, Nancy graduated from Bothell High School in 1969 and attended Oregon State University. She married Mike Watts in 1986 and they settled in Snohomish to raise their family.
Nancy worked at the Monroe Correctional Complex in administration and as a counselor for nearly 20 years. She was an avid Seahawks and Mariners fan and could often be heard yelling at the television on game days. She enjoyed her cats, gardening, observing the wildlife in her backyard, and the many animals her daughters brought home over the years. She had a wry sense of humor and a hearty, infectious laugh that she generously shared.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Virginia and Arne Strand, Nancy leaves behind her husband of 30 years Mike Watts, her daughters, Ann (Darrell) Dirks, Breannah (Darin) Haton, Tracy (Jeff) Langendoerfer, Cindy Clark and Samantha Watts and her grandchildren, Owen, Daphne and Nolan Dirks, Madeline Langendoerfer and Tristen Robinson. She is also survived by her brothers Norm (Nora) Strand and Alan (Nancy) Strand and many nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at Purdy and Kerr with Dawson in Monroe on January 31, 2017 at 11am. To honor Nancy’s memory please wear Seahawks or Mariners attire. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your favorite charity. Friends and family are encouraged to sign the guestbook at:
