Platinum Dance Center hosting Seahawks game-day auction

Monroe's Platinum Dance Center is hosting a Seahawks-themed fundraising auction 12:30-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Echo Falls Country Club in Snohomish.

Guests are invited to watch the Seattle Seahawks take on the Dallas Cowboys live on three separate screens. The event includes drinks, appetizers, live and silent auctions and a dessert auction. Tickets to the event are $30.

PDC is owned by Monroe residents Jessica O'Banion and Rachel Park, who founded the studio together in 2010. Their curriculum includes pre-dance, ballet, lyrical, jazz, acrobatic, turns and leaps, hip-hop, ballet/jazz combo and tap. Aside from O'Banion, PDC employs several instructors to teach classes divided up by age and skill level.

Platinum Elite, the studio's competition team, is divided into several categories, including Petite Elite (ages 8 and younger), Junior Elite (ages 9 to 11), Allstar Elite (teenagers) and the Elite Company (various ages).

Proceeds from the auction will directly support the PDC competition team by offsetting fees associated with competitions during the upcoming year. Auction items include a signed Seahawks jersey, timeshare opportunities and private wine tasting tours.

Echo Falls Country Club is located just outside of Monroe at 20414 121st Ave. S.E., in Snohomish. For more information about Platinum, visit www.idance247.com. For more information about the event, visit www.facebook.com/events/716492348482913/.
