UPDATE: Examiner's Office identifies body found in Snohomish River as missing Monroe woman

Update

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office-áhas determined-áthe cause of death in the case of 53-year-old Marianne Humble to be fresh water drowning. The manner of death is undetermined at this time.

Humble was last seen in Monroe on Monday, Jan. 18, and was reported missing when she did not return to her home in the 14600 block of High Bridge Road. A Snohomish County Sheriff's Office search and rescue team discovered Humble's body on Jan. 20, in the river close to-áher residence. The 14600 block of High Bridge Road is located-ánear the confluence of the Skykomish and Snohomish rivers.

Humble's disappearance was reported by members of her family, who said that she had no prior history of depression or disappearing.

The case-áis still under investigation.-áSnohomish County Sheriff's Office detectives do not believe the death is suspicious.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office on Friday positively identified a body found in the Snohomish River as that of 53-year-old Marianne Humble, who was reported missing by her family last Monday.

Humble was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, and was reported missing when she did not return to her residence in the 14600 block of High Bridge Road. Her body was recovered from the river, near her residence, by Snohomish County Sheriff's Office search and rescue on Wednesday, Jan. 20.

While Humble's body was identified by the examiner's office, the cause and manner of death is still pending further investigation.

According to her family, Humble had no history of depression or disappearing.
