Boys soccer

On April 27, the Cruisers picked up their first win of the season, shutting down the Foss Falcons, 4-3. Scoring goals for the Cruisers in the win were Josh Recktenwald with two, Kevin Tomyn and Ayden Lilly. The Cruisers finished the week with a 6-1 loss against the Orting Cardinals.

 

Boys track & field

On April 27, the Cruisers took on the White River Hornets and brought home a 99-34 victory. Jager Roulst broke his own school record in the high jump with a height of 6 feet, 2.5 inches. On Friday, the Cruisers took down the Orting Cardinals, 93-45. Cam Hatler broke his own school record in the 1,600-meter race with a time of 4 minutes, 23.02 seconds, breaking his previous mark by 6 seconds. Hatler is now ranked No. 2 in the 2A classification and No. 14 overall.

 

Girls track & field

The girls dropped their meet against White River April 27 by a score of 84-55. They bounced back on Friday against Orting and took home an 86-50 victory. Alexia Price took first place in both the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter races. Alivia Bertram took first place in both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles.
