Jeanie Louise Fisk 1945 - 2021

Jeanie Louise Fisk, of Mineral Washington, passed away November 1, 2021, after suffering a stroke. She was 76 years old.
Born in 1945 to George and Fran Thomas, Mom was the middle sister in a trio with Jan and Jill, and grew up in Tacoma Washington.
Mom graduated from Mt. Tahoma high school in 1963 and received further schooling in interior design. Art was a constant in Mom’s life, whether it was painting, making costumes, t-shirt printing or even yoga and reiki. Mom’s art was how she maintained her connection to the universe, and evidence of her empathy and compassion.
As she lived a varied and sometimes complicated life, her dedication to her children and her husband were always evident. She will be remembered as a kind and creative soul who always strove to better herself and was always there for her family.
Mom found the love of her life in 1986, when she met Ron “Butch” Fisk. (They were married for 35 years and never argued once!) She raised six kids and “mothered” countless others – she impacted everyone she met and will be sorely missed by her community.
Mom is survived by her loving husband Ron, her children Wendy, Kneale, Terry, Jo, Ron, and Fran, along with 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held November 14, 2021, at Christ’s Church at Elbe, in Elbe, Wa at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the church.
