Cruiser track competes well, prepares for subdistricts

The Eatonville High School track and field team put up some good showings in a meet with a couple of 4A and one 2B school on Thursday.

Overall, the Emerald Ridge High School boys and girls took the top spots. The Eatonville girls finished third, with the boys finishing fourth.

Placing for the Cruisers were:

Kyle Cox, first place shot put

Jake Wood, first place javelin

Job Kralik, second place 100 meters and third place 200 meters, both personal best times

Justus Roulst, second place high jump

Jenae Roulst, second place javelin

Alex Lambert, second place pole vault

Emily Bennett, third place 100-meter hurdles

Tristan Lewis, third place discus

E. Gendreau, H. Hanson, N. King, B, Andersen, third place 4x200-meter relay

Hannah Kralik, third place pole vault

 

On Saturday, a host of Cruisers competed in the freshman invitational at Tiger Stadium in Centralia.

The top-three finishers at the meet for the Cruisers were:

Ethan Carter, first place pole vault

C. Bamford, R. Hill, K. Nation, D. Sullivan, first place 4x100-meter relay

Cole Bamford, second place javelin

Eva Garber, second place discus

Ky Nation, third place 100 meters

Joseph Callon, third place high jump

 

The Cruisers will now rest up and prepare for the Evergreen 1A Subdistrict Championships on May 13 at Montesano High School.
