Eatonville boys capture league title, girls finish third

This past Friday, the Eatonville track teams headed to Montesano High School to compete in the 1A Evergreen League Championships.

The boys dominated the competition and came away with a first-place finish and the league title while the girls finished third.

The following athletes had big days for the Cruisers:

Job Kralik: First 100 meters, first 200 meters, first 4x100-meter relay, second long jump

Justus Roulst: First 4x100-meter relay, first high jump, third triple jump

Austin Wicker: First 4x100-meter relay, third 100 meters, third 200 meters, third 400 meters

Ethan Carter: First pole vault

Kyle Cox: First shot put, first discus

Cameron Peace: Second 400 meters, third 4x400-meter relay

Owen Van Eaton: Second 800 meters, third 4x400-meter relay

Joseph Mueller: Second 1600 meters, second 3200 meters

Logan Taylor: Second triple jump, third 4x400-meter relay, third high jump

Tristan Lewis: Second shot put, second discus

Jake Wood: Second javelin

Ethan Moore: Third javelin

Cole Bamford: Third 4x400-meter relay

Cole Pederson: Third 3200 meters

Dana Bazan: Third 110-meter hurdles, third 300-meter hurdles

 

Girls

Hannah Kralik: First pole vault, second 4x100-meter relay, third 4x400-meter relay

Hannah Hanson: Second 100 meters, second 4x100-meter relay, second 4x200-meter relay

Jenae Roulst: Second 200 meters, second 4x100-meter relay, second 4x200-meter relay

Ella Gendreau: Second 4x100-meter relay, second 4x200-meter relay, third 4x400-meter relay

Sienna Henkel: Second 4x200-meter relay, third 4x400-meter relay

Emily Bennett: Third 100-meter hurdles

Anna Benato: Third 4x400-meter relay, third long jump

Tianna Lewis: Third high jump

Alex Lambert: Third pole vault

 

All these athletes have qualified for the district meet. The following athletes have also qualified for the district meet:

Boys -- Antonio Accarino, Julian Cline, Ben Morrish, Preston Sims, Jacob Eisenhooth, Joseph Callon, Ky Nation and Riley Hill.

Girls -- Cheyanne Price, Haley Courson, Rylee Valentine and Ryan Stammen.

The 2022 Southwestern Washington District IV track meet will take place Thursday at Seton Catholic High School in Vancouver, Washington. The first events begin at 3:45 p.m.
