Art Festival spans three days

Art galore. Food. Music. Now that's a festival. The Eatonville Lions Club's 43rd annual Art Festival will roll out its broad mix of artwork and entertainment for virtually all ages and tastes for three days, starting this Friday. Glacier Park in Eatonville will be the scene of more than 100 artisans displaying and selling their work. Also on tap will be a live and silent auction, live bands and other entertainment, assorted food and a beer garden. Artisans' work will include quilts, paintings, glass, photography, cement yard art, forged metal, jewelry, crafts, dioramas, fabric, stitchery and furniture, among others. The daily art, food and auction schedules include: " Aug. 1 and 2: Artisan booths open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Food will be available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the beer garden will be open from 11 a.m. to midnight. A live auction will be held on Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. " Aug. 3: Artisan booths open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food service is 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The beer garden goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A silent auction is 1 to 3 p.m. Musically, bands and soloists will pump out classic rock, country, bluegrass, big band and soft rock tunes.
