An 18-point halftime lead for Bethel didn't stand up in the second half as Puyallup rallied for a 44-30 victory last Friday in a South Puget Sound League 4A high school football game.
Bethel led 24-6 after the first two quarters. But Puyallup roared back with 25 unanswered points in the fourth period. Quarterback Brendan Tilles led the charge for the Vikings, finishing the game with 16 completed passes in 25 attempts for 242 yards and two touchdowns.
The Braves, now 2-6, wlll finish their season tomorrow at Beamer. The Titans were 42-7 losers last week to Graham-Kapowsin.
