Cascade Christian earned the Nisqually League's number 2 seed in the boys high school basketball 1A tri-district playoffs by beating Eatonville 52-39 Friday. Eatonville will enter the playoffs next week as the third-seeded team from the Nisqually. Seeding was at stake when the teams met on a neutral court at Orting High. The tie-breaker was necessary because they finished the regular season tied for second place in the Nisqually with identical records of 12-4. They each beat the other once in overtime during the regular season GÇô Cascade Christian winning 52-49 in December and Eatonville prevailing 66-65 in January. Cedar Park Christian won the league title. Shawn Spencer paced Cascade Christian in the rubber match with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocked shots.
