Two State Patrol detectives who specialize in investigating computer crimes against children - including a recent case with Pierce County connctions - will be available for a Twitter discussion Wednesday with parents on the subject of keeing children safe online.
From 2:30 to 4 p.m., questions can be tweeted to #askWSP for replies from Sgts.Carlos Rodriguez and Jesse Regalado. The only topics off-limits will be anything related to active cases, a State Patrol spokesman said.
Rodriguez, commander of the state's Missing and Exploited Children's Task Force, most recently was involved in the investigation that led to the arrest of a Spanaway man and another suspect in Elma in an online child pornography ring.
Regalado's expertise includes recovering information from computer hard drives.
