The Eatonville Family Agency and Mountain Community Garden have joined to fight hunger and provide more nutritious options at the local food bank. -á This Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a food drive to help stock the food bank shelves, which are typically low at this time of year.-áParticularly needed are protein non-perishables, such as tuna, beans, chicken, and peanut butter. The community is urged to visit the Mountain Community Garden in Eatonville (located next to-áChopstix on Center Street East in Eatonville) and drop off donations, and to receive some thank-you seeds. -á Mountain Community Garden's open house will be held the same day. Visitors can tour the garden, purchase a raised bed, and/or attend one or all of the free workshops. (Read more in the June 12 print edition of The Dispatch)
