Cruisers still atop Nisqually

A pattern for Eatonville High School's football team - high-scoring starts and insurmountable halftime leads - continued last Friday in what so far is a perfect Nisqually League campaign.
The Cruisers, making the long trek to the Olympic Peninsula to play on Chimacum's turf, rang up 21 points in the first quarter and a 35-0 halftime advantage en route to a 42-7 shellacking of the Cowboys.
The fifth-consecutive victory was also the third in as many tries against Nisqually foes, keeping Eatonville in a three-way tie for the league lead at 3-0 with defending champion Cascade Christian and Wright.
The rout of Chimacum (2-2 in the Nisqually, 2-4 overall)-áwas similar to a 49-6 victory over Bow Lake the week before, when the Cruisers led 35-0 and 49-0 after the first two quarters.
