Curtis kept its share of second place in the South Puget Sound League 4A South division and pushed Bethel down a notch by beating the Braves 28-21 Friday in a high school football showdown. Both teams entered the contest in University Place with one loss in SPSL action. Bethel came from behind three times to tie the score before Curtis broke a 21-21 deadlock with the deciding touchdown in the fourth quarter. (Read more in the Oct. 22 print edition of The Dispatch)
