By Pat Jenkins The Dispatch Online social networking is helping authorities move closer to possibly solving a string of burglaries in Eatonville. Two people who are considered suspects by the Eatonville Police Department have been identified from an image that the agency posted to Facebook from surveillance video at a convenience store, according to police chief Jason McGuire. He said investigators were still trying to locate the suspects and have been in touch with other police departments in the Puget Sond area "who have dealt with these suspects in the past few months" in other cases. Eatonville Police have actively sought the public's help in catching whoever's responsible for break-ins earlier this year at homes on Antonie Avenue. In addition to turning to Facebook with a plea for tips on the suspects' identity, authorities offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the crimes.. The burglaries gained notoriety partly because one of the victims was an elderly woman whose house was broken into three times, including twice in a one-week period. The woman didn't confront the intruder and wasn't able to provide a description. Other residents in the neighborhood reported mail thefts and possible attempts at breaking into vehicles, according to police.
