Eatonville High School has set a schedule for clearing student-athletes for the fall 2013 seasons in football, volleyball, boys tennis, swimming and diving, girls soccer, cross-country and golf. The athletics packet and sport-specific paperwork can be obtained at the Eatonville School District office at 200 Lynch St. or at http://eatonville.wednet.edu. The clearance schedule is Aug. 21, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.; Aug. 22, 5-8 p.m.; Aug. 23, 3-7 p.m.; and Aug. 26, 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. A fall sports parents meeting will be held Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. in the commons at the high school. Athletes will need to pay the sport user fee of $35 and the ASB card fee of $40, and their physicals must be valid through the entire sport Golf will be a co-op sport with Graham-Kapowsin High School, which requires a new physical for the Bethel School District. Football will be the first sport to begin pre-season practices, starting Aug. 21 from 3 to 7 p.m. Gear checkout is scheduled for 3 p.m., followed by practice. Practices will start Aug. 26 for all other sports - volleyball from 9 a.m. to 12, swimming from 7 to 9:30 a.m., boys tennis practice from 3 to 5 p.m., girls soccer from 3 to 6 p.m., and cross country from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
