Fastpitch honors for Cruisers, Braves

Four local high school fastpitch players, headed by Nisqually League Most Valuable Player K.K. Voss of Eatonville, were named to the first teams of the respective all-league teams for the recently completed 2013 season. Joining Voss in All-Nisqually hierarchy were Eatonville pitchers Maddy Smith and Morgan Maida. Anna Olson, a sophomore shortstop for Bethel, was a South Puget Sound League 4A choice. Performances this season that helped Voss cement her MVP award included three hits (one of them a home run) and three RBIs in a 16-6 rout of Cedar Park Christian that capped Nisqually champion Eatonville's undefeated league season.
