Free admission to park on Veterans Day

Mount Rainier National Park will honor the military on Veterans Day by waiving park entrance fees for everyone on Wednesday. In addition, current members of the armed forces and the dependents of active-duty or deployed military members can receive a free annual pass to all national parks and other federal-managed recreational land by showing a valid military at the park entrance station. Visitors must have tire chains in their vehicles while in the park, as required by park officials.
