Active-duty and retired military members will be admitted free to Northwest Trek and Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium on Nov. 10-11 in recognition of Veterans Day. Proof of military service will required and can include military or veteran identification card, discharge papers or any other proof of military service. Northwest Trek will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The zoo and aquarium will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both facilities are operated by Tacoma Metro Parks.
