G-K baseball, fastpitch players pick their colleges

Four Graham-Kapowsin High School seniors recently signed letters of intent with colleges where they plan to continue their academic studies and athleric careers. Here's whom and where they'll be heading after getting their diplomas this spring: \* Nick Moore. On Jan. 28, signed to play baseball at Skagit Valley Community College. Moore is a pitcher and third baseman for Graham-Kapowsin. He's interested in studying education. \* Jacob Winn. On Jan. 29, committed to play baseball for Everett Community College. Winn's a second baseman and short stop, and he plans to study education. \* Kelsey Cearley, On Feb.1, signed a letter to play fastpitch for Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake. Cearley plays second base and in the outfield and is a pitcher for G-K and her select team, Northwest Wildcats. In college, she'll study elementary education. \* Dusty Elliott. Made the commitment to play baseball at Centralia College. Elliott is an outfielder for Graham-Kapowsin. He's planning on studying dentistry in college.
