The Washington State Fair in Puyallup is in its final week, with a local influence part of the sprawling attractions of one of the world's largest fairs. Students from Eatonville High School, Bethel High School and Graham-Kapowsin High School are among the exhibitors in the fair's 26th annual high school and junior high art show. Students' artwork is on display in a pavilion just inside the main gate. And Pioneer Farm Museum, an Eatonville-area attraction, is the host of a small demonstration farm and a replica of an 1880s-era cabin near some of the 4H livestock barns and the midway. Farm representatives dressed in period costumes greet visitors, who can try their hand at some pioneer ways and view vegetable plants. The fair is open daily through Sunday, when it will conclude its annual 17-day run. Hours, admission and other information is available at thefair.com
