Muriel Dow Tucon/June 26, 1927-July 17, 2016

Muriel Dow Tucon was born to Arnold and Ada Dow on June 26, 1927 in Eatonville, Washington along with her twin Margie. She grew up working on the Dow family farm between Elbe and Mineral. She attended school in Mineral, Chehalis, Elbe and Eatonville graduating from Eatonville High School in 1946. In 1950 she married Arnold Michelson and they had three children, Debbie, Louis and Susan. She was employed at the Eatonville Telephone Company as a switchboard operator while they raised their family. Muriel devoted many years as a member of the Mount Rainier Aux, their bowling team and a term as Madam President of the Aux. She also worked several years in the Eagles lounge. In 1993 she maarried long time family friend Jim Tucon, where they enjoyed many wonderful adventures and road trips. to Alaska, Nevada, Mexico, California, Oregon and Washington. Muriel is survived by her husband Jim, twin sister Margie, her children, Debi Hallmann (Joe), Louis Michelson, Susan Michelson; stepsons Jim Tucon Jr., (Angie), Danny Tucon, daughter Peggy (Steve) Bence. Grandchildren, Joe Hallmann, Jr., (Carolyn), Christine Hallmann, Sharmane (Steve), Torres, Lucas (Janelle) Michelson, Carlee Michelson and Numerous Great Grandchildren. Celebration of life will be at Ohop Grange Hall, 41608 Mt. Hwy. E., 1:30 - 4 p.m.
