Leianne Everett, in her latest step in a 17-year career in healthcare administration, has been hired as chief operations officer and chief financial officer of Morton General Hospital. She began her new duties Feb. 1. Everett previously held administrative posts at hospitals in Tennessee, Michigan and Idaho. "We took our time filling the position because we knew the importance of finding the right individual with the right skills and approaches for our hospital, staff and community," said Judy Ramsey, chairwoman of the Morton General board of directors.
