By Pat Jenkins The Dispatch There will be 14 new principals and vice principals to greet students at the start of the new school year in the Eatonville and Bethel school districts. The biggest number of new faces GÇô an even dozen GÇô will be in Bethel, where classes start Sept. 1. Eatonville will get its 2016-17 school year going on Sept. 7. Those dates are for all grade levels except kindergarten. The first day for the youngest students will be Sept. 7 in Bethel and Sept. 12 in Eatonville. A new assistant principal at Eatonville High School is coming from all the way across the country. Greg Goble recently moved from North Carolina, where he worked at high schools and middle schools. "Every experience I have had in Eatonville has made a lasting impression,GÇ¥ Goble said. "The more I discover, the more excited I am to work at Eatonville High.GÇ¥ The Eatonville district's other new administrator is Eric Vannatter, assistant principal at Eatonville Middle School. He's entering his 13th year as an educator and worked previously in the Highline School District. In the Bethel district, eight schools will have a combined 12 new leaders. They include: " Bethel High School: Principal Adam Cox, assistant principal Jennifer Martyn, and associated administrators Jason Johnson and Stephanie Lewis. " Graham-Kapowsin High School:Assistant principal Alyse Fritz. " Rocky Ridge Elementary School: Associated administrator Danielle Waters. " Nelson Elementary School: Assistant principal Melissa Boyd. " Clover Creek Elementary School: Principal Sara Olson. " Cougar Mountain Middle School: Principal Bethany Aoki and assistant principal Brittany Corpuz. " Liberty Middle School: Assistant principal Kianee Lee. " Shining Mountain Elementary School: Assistant principal Melinda McConnaughey. The changes for the Bethel district are the result of retirements or other departures of previous administrators.
