One motorist died and four others were injured in a head-on collision between two automobiles on State Route 507 last Saturday. The State Patrol identified the deceased motorist as Todd Morose, 50, of Tacoma. Three passengers in the car he was driving and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to hospitals for medical treatment. Their conditions weren't disclosed. According to Patrol troopers, a pickup truck driven by a 31-year-old man from Roy crossed the center line of SR-507 near Milepost 42 and struck the sports utility vehicle driven by Morose. According to the State Patrol, possible charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, driving under the influence, hit and run, and obstruction were pending. The Dispatch isn't reporting the name of the person until charges are filed.
