High school basketball and wrestling teams are close to opening their 2012-13 seasons. The boys and girls basketball squads at Eatonville, Graham-Kapowsin and Bethel will play their first official games this Friday. Eatonville's Cruisers will face Bonney Lake in non-league contests at Auburn Riverside High School. They'll also be at Seattle Christian next Tuesday. South Puget Sound League 4A season openers await the Graham-Kapowsin and Bethel teams this Friday. In boys' action, G-K will host cross-district rival Spanaway Lake, while Bethel will be at home against Curtis. Both games will start at 7 p.m. Graham-Kapowsin's and Bethel's girls' teams will be at Spanaway Lake and Curtis, respectively. Eatonville's wrestling team will compete in a tournament at West Valley High in Yakima this Saturday. Graham-Kapowsin will open SPSL wrestling campaign Dec. 12 after facing Eatonville Dec. 6 in a non-league meet.
