The Eatonville Cruisers can say it took Washington's best to knock them out of the state 1A high school football tournament. One week after beating Eatonville in the semifinals, Cascade Christian topped Colville 27-26 in overtime last Saturday in the championship game in the Tacoma Dome. It was a tighter finish for the Cougars in the finale. They kept Colville from scoring a two-point conversion in the overtime period that would have given the title to the eastern Washington school. The week before, Cascade Christian blew the game open in the third quarter en route to a 42-14 decision over Eatonville.
