Eatonville Junior Cruisers Football reports it has room for more players on its seventh/eighth-grade teams. If you're interested, here's how you can get involved, straight from Cheryl Taylor, treasurer of EJCF: "The cost is $125. We will start practice on Aug. 1 at Eatonville Middle School. We are working with the school so that calls and terminology and plays will be a smooth transition once school starts. When school starts, players will do their regular practice with the middle school, then have a walk-through on Friday with Junior Cruisers and a game on Saturday. "We do need to have all sign ups completed ASAP so we can get our uniforms ordered. The 7th-8th grade team is getting a jump start on your conditioning and running plays, as well as an extra game every week. Anyone who is interested please contact us as soon as possible. "We will hold registration open for one more week to try to accomidate everyone. We will hold a final registration at the Eatonville Visitors Center on July 21 from 6 to 7:30 for final paper and sizing for uniforms. Payments will be due by Aug. 1.
