George Tomal won the sprint events and the javelin to pace the boys, and Daisey Newman won all three weight events and Heidi Brankline captured the long and triple jumps to lead the girls as Eatonville beat Seattle Christian and Cascade Christian in a Nisqually League high school track and field meet Thursday. Tomal was clocked in 12.04 and 23.86 seconds in the 100 and 200. His winning throw in the javelin was 152 feet 6 inches. He also ran a leg on the victorious 4x100 relay team. Justin Kaelin in the shot put (53-4) and discus (147-11), and Joe Evans in the long jump (19-9) and triple jump (38-2) were double winners for the Cruisers. Newman took the shot put at 38-3, the discus at 102 and the javelin at 97-6. Brankline's winning marks were 14-11.5 in the long jump and 30-6 in the triple jump. Brankline was the leadoff runner in Eatonville's victory in the 4x200 relay. Mia Snyder was a dual winner for the Cruisers in the 100 high hurdles (17.96) and the 300 intermediate hurdles (53.42).
