Becker said the interactive meeting, which comes during the 2016 session of the Legislature, is "a great tool for me to hear what is on the minds of people in my district.GÇ¥ Meanwhile, the Senate last week approved Becker's proposed legislation that would establish a telemedicine collaborative that would expand the reimbursement for healthcare services. Senate Bill 6519 will require passage by the House of Representatives before it can be enacted. Telemedicine is practiced by many healthcare specialists, but uncertainy among providers over reimbursement has hampered the technology's growth, according to Becker.
