A 62-year-old woman from Roy died after being struck by a sport utility vehicle as she was walking across a highway last Friday.
The State Patrol identified her as Diane Cox. She was crossing State Route 507 at a point just south of State Route 702 when she was hit by the SUV, which was driven by a 63-year-old Seattle woman, troopers reported. She was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.
No other details were made available.
