Eatonville rallies past Highline

Eatonville High’s fastpitch team turned a close, come-from-behind contest into a runaway 11-4 victory over Highline Monday afternoon.

The Cruisers, after moving ahead 1-0 in the second inning, gave up four runs to their hosts in the third inning to fall behind 4-1. But they scored four times in the fifth inning to regain the lead, then broke the 2A South Puget Sound League game open with six runs in the seventh inning.

Eatonville’s hitting stars included Brooklyn Lucht, who homered and drove in a team-high three runs.
