The Lions' annual Casino Night was held March 18 at the Eatonville Lions Club hall. This event supports the efforts of Dollars for Scholars and a new partnership this year with the Eatonville Family Agency. This event was a great success.
As a benefit for those attending the fund-raising event, they were treated to plenty of hors d’oeuvres, wine and spirits, as well as a fun-filled night of poker, blackjack, roulette and more. In addition, those in attendance participated in over 30 items for the silent auction. Lots of winners!
To top off the evening's events, there was a live auction with comedian-auctioneer Dave Hickman (thank you, Dave) where bidders battled it out to be the top bidders for some really great auction items.
All in all, it was a fun filled social event, and $9,000 was raised for much-needed revenue for the Dollars for Scholars and the food bank.
A giant thank you to those that came and supported the events, thank you to all of you that worked so hard to make this evening possible, the laborious hours before and the night of.
A special thank you to all of you who donated items and funds to make this event so great. We couldn’t have done this without all of you.
