Pins push Eatonville wrestlers past Rochester

The Eatonville Cruisers won five matches by pins en route to a 45-35

victory over Rochester in a non-league high school wrestling meet.

The pins were recorded by Mason Thornton, Zack Smith, Dawsen Wilcox,

Tanner Haugen and Zander Peters. Eatonville's other match winners

included C.J. Caeton by decision.

In other early-season action, Eatonville's boys were at Washington and

the girls were at Yelm for tournaments. Placing for the girls were

Olivia Branson (third at 120 pounds), Taylor Curtis (fifth at 110) and

Madison Jumper. Boys placers Dominick Johnson and Gjori Nykreim (second)

and Gage Olsen, Haugen and Lucas Lane (third).
