Empty Bowls, an annual event in which local artists donate handmade bowls that are purchased at a fund-raising soup meal, was held Nov. 18 in Tacoma. Proceeds benefitted Emergency Food Network, which funnels food supplies to food banks in Eatonville, Graham and the rest of Pierce County.
