In one of two weather-related impacts on public facilities in a 24-hour period, the start of the school day in the Eatonville School District on Monday was delayed two hours because of snowy conditions.
District officials also canceled preschool and out-of-district transportation.
On Sunday, Northwest Trek announced it would be closed for the day because of ice on pathways and roads.
The wildlife park near Eatonville also was closed Jan. 2 for the same reason.
Trek officials said the park will reopen Jan. 13 for its winter schedule.
