Graham-Kapowsin, which is on a roll after last week's success in the district playoffs, will face Lake Stevens to open the state 4A high school volleyball tournament Nov. 10 in Kennewick.
G-K made it to the state show at Toyota Center by winning three of its four matches in the District 3 playoffs at Kentwood High.
The victories that clinched the Eagles' trip east of the Cascade Mountains as one of the district's top seven finishers came Nov. 4 in straight games over Kentridge (25-21, 25-20 and 27-25) and Kent-Meridian (31-29, 25-16, 25-16).
Graham-Kapowsin started the two-day district action by beating Kennedy Catholic 3 games to 1 (25-14, 28-26, 23-25 and 25-16), then fell to Tahoma 3-0 (25-24, 25-14, 25-12).
The Eagles finished their regular season in fourth place in the South Puget Sound League with a 5-3 record (11-9 overall), then advanced to the district competition by placing fourth in the conference tournament in Sumner.
