Cameron Scott Wright died suddenly and much too soon on September 12, 2017. He was born in 1962 in Novato, CA, but it was never really home. In 1977, his mother moved the family to Eatonville, WA. Here, he found home. He loved the outdoors, camping, being on the lake with his kayak where he found tranquility. He lived a few other places but always came back home. He served in the US Army and was stationed in to South Korea. Later, he became a talented mechanic and worked on large military vehicles at JBLM. Most of all, he loved his church at Center Point where he actively served the Lord in singing and playing guitar on the worship team and during Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery was dear to his heart as he loved, laughed, and ministered to those who struggled in life like he had and together they found healing and God’s purpose. He was greatly loved back by those he ministered to sharing Christ’s deep love. His dry humor and corny jokes will be greatly missed. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his mother, Lois Brown; sisters Michel Landerman, Shannon Lyman, and Abbi Wonacott; his nieces Morgan Landerman, Desiree Saifert, and Michaela Wonacott, as well as, nephew Keenan Wonacott. Cameron is preceded in death by his father, James Scott Wright and grandparents Clair and Lois Daly.
Cameron’s memorial will be on September 24 at 3:00 at Center Point Church in the Eatonville High School Auditorium with reception to follow at the Center Point property shop.
