New Years closures in Eatonville

Although most of us will be trying to recover from the madness of the recent holiday, another holiday this next week will close offices and local utilities. New Years Eve and New Years Day

The following offices will be closed for New Years;

•The Town of Eatonville offices will be closed by noon on New Years Eve and closed New Years Day. The offices will reopen on the following Wednesday, Jan. 2.

•Pierce County District offices and courts will be closed New Years Day. Hours will resume on Wednesday.

•South Pierce County Fire and Rescue offices will be closed New Years Eve and New Years Day. Offices will reopen on Wednesday. For emergencies call 911.

•Eatonville Police Department offices will be closed New Years Day. Office hours will resume on Wednesday. In the event of an emergency call 911. For non-emergency situations call (360)832-6111.

•The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department offices will be closed News Years Day. In the case of an emergency call 911. For non-emergencies call (253)798-4722.

•Pierce County Library branches will be closed by 6 p.m. on New Years Eve and and New Years Day. The Eatonville branch will reopen on Wednesday.

•The Eatonville School District winter break begins Dec. 19 until Dec. 31. Eatonville district offices will be closed New Years Day and there will be no classes. Offices will reopen and classes will begin on Wednesday.

•The United States Post Office will be open on New Years Eve and offices will be closed on New Years Day. Offices reopen on Wednesday.
